Roley Arterburn

IMPERIAL, Nebraska -- Roley Arterburn, 89, died Tuesday (June 7, 2011) at Imperial Manor Nursing Home in Imperial.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife; and one sister.

Survivors include his daughter, Mary Wintz of Denver, Colorado; sons, Roley W. Arterburn of Lamar, Nebraska, John and wife, Cindy Arterburn of Imperial and Joe and wife, Cathy Arterburn of Sidney, Nebraska; sister, Barbara Banks of Imperial; brothers, Keith and wife, Hazel Arterburn of McCook, Nebraska, and Kermit and wife, Charlene of McCook; brother-in-law, Kenneth Spady of Ogallala, Nebraska; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services are Saturday, 10:30 a.m. MDT, at the United Methodist Church of Imperial with the Rev. Fred Andersen officiating. Internment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Imperial.

Visitation is Friday, 2--6 p.m. MDT, at Liewer Funeral Home in Imperial.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Roley and Alyce Arterburn Scholarship Fund.
