OBERLIN, Kansas -- Harold A. Hill, 87, died Tuesday (May 24, 2011) at Cedar Living Center in Oberlin.

He was born Nov. 11, 1923, in Piqua, Ohio, to George Hill and Lillian Reynolds. He was raised in Arkansas.

He married Erma Jean Bastin.

He lived in Oberlin where he was a gas station attendant and worked for the Pepsi Bottling Company.

He was a member of United Church of Oberlin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Erma Jean Hill; and three siblings, Tony Hill, Carl Hill and Waunita Hughs.

He survived by his sons, Bobby Hill of Oberlin; daughter Betty and husband, Charles Miller of Salina, Kansas; brother, Richard and wife, Maxine Hill of Norwich, Kansas; one granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter.

Graveside memorial services are at a later date.
