Peggy Rosenblad

NORTH PLATTE, Nebraska -- Peggy Rosenblad, 62, died May 15, 2011, at Yuma Regional Medical Center in Yuma, Arizona following four and a half months of severe multiple sclerosis.
She was born Jan. 1, 1949, in Maywood, Nebraska to Delma (Walker) Foote and Thurman Foote. She lived in Hayes County, Nebraska until her graduation from Hayes County High School. She graduated from the University of Nebraska and Kearney State College with a Bachelor of Science in education and some business credits.
She married Dennis K. Rosenblad in 1968. They lived in Hershey, Kearney and Gothenburg, Nebraska. She taught in Farnam, Nebraska for a few years. Later they lived on farmland near her parents. Her husband began work for Kugler Gas Company in Culbertson, Nebraska while she was a field representative for Hanes Manufacturing Company in Central Nebraska and Northern Kansas. Her husband was transferred to Gothenburg and she began many years of bookkeeping for the Pit Stop Corp. When they both retired, they sold their home and spent two years traveling the United States. Then hospitalization from severe multiple sclerosis attacks led to her death.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years; one sister, Alyce Sue (Foote) Callaway; a brother-in-law, John (Jack) Callaway; parents; step-mother-in-law, Marian Rosenblad; two step-brothers-in-law, Kevin and Jeff Rosenblad; one step-sister-in-law, Ellen Arms; and many relatives and friends.
