Robert 'Rob' A. Seybold

TRENTON, Nebraska -- Robert "Rob" A. Seybold, 40, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011, in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Rob was born to Robert G. and Linda L. (Westrand) Seybold in Kearney on Jan. 15, 1971. He graduated from Trenton High School in 1990. Following graduation he began working on the family farm and ranch northwest of Trenton. In addition to taking over the family farm, he had owned and operated Seybold Construction since 2000.
He loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing with his dad and brother, and spending time with friends. Rob enjoyed hunting in Alaska for bear, caribou, Dall sheep and moose, as well as many other western states, although his favorite hunting experience was enjoyed close to home, pursuing whitetail deer.
He was always there to lend a helping hand to family, friends and neighbors. He loved little kids, especially his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
He is survived by his father, Robert Seybold of Trenton; mother, Linda Seybold of Grand Island, Nebraska; brother, Frank Hansen and wife, Darcey and their children, Chris and Stephen Hoffman of McCook; sisters, Bobbi Jo Kool and husband, Todd and their children, Brandon and Brandi, Annette Seybold and daughter, Makayla all of Grand Island. Also surviving is a close family friend Gary Poindexter of Trenton.

A Memorial gathering is Monday, May 23, 2011 from 4--8 p.m. at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home.
