Be prepared to stop ...

Friday, March 25, 2011
Paulsen Inc. crews build a barricade wall on the Blackwood Creek bridge east of Culbertson, Nebraska, Thursday afternoon, preparing for one-way traffic controlled with traffic signals over the Blackwood and the Frenchman creeks during a $6.4 million construction project from the west edge of McCook to the U.S. Highway 6 & 34 junction west of Culbertson. The project includes new asphalt overlay, concrete patching, and bridge, shoulder, guardrail and culvert work. In addition to the traffic signals on the bridges, flaggers and pilot vehicles will be used throughout the 14-mile project. Watch for construction workers and vehicles, and be prepared to stop and to add extra time for delays within the construction zone. The project should be completed by late fall.
