Gerald Bartels

CALIMESA, California -- Gerald Bartels, 79, died Friday (March 11, 2011), at his home in Calimesa.

He was raised in Culbertson, Nebraska.

He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Al Colberg.

Survivors include wife, Mary of Calimesa; and three children, Elaine Colberg of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Beth and husband, J.J. Jennings of Salem, Oregon, and Jerry Bartels of Colorado Springs. He was the brother of Geneva Eckhardt of McCook, Nebraska, Howard and wife, Betty Bartels, Wilma Stocks and Carol and husband, Bill Masten.
