Red Willow County, Nebraska, Sheriff's Deputy Ashley Donovan, right, and Red Willow Western Rural Fire Department personnel respond to a one-vehicle accident four miles south of McCook on U.S. Highway 83 Sunday evening. Jeremy E. Stoney, 33, of Oberlin, Kansas, was transported to Community Hospital of McCook by City of McCook fire and rescue personnel; hospital nursing services could release no information about Stoney this morning. Dep. Donovan's accident reports indicates that Stoney, who was southbound in a van owned by Tara and Jose Quintana of McCook, went into a seizure, crossed both lanes of traffic, went down into the east ditch, through a barbed wire fence and pasture and stopped on guy wires for a radio antenna. Stoney was alone in the van; it is unknown whether he was wearing a seat belt. Donovan does not suspect drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident.
