Morgan Glen Hubbert

INDIANOLA, Nebraska -- Morgan Glen Hubbert, 16, died Thursday (Feb. 3, 2011), at the Children's Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.

He was born in Cambridge, Nebraska on April 28, 1994, to Kenneth and Gail (Proud) Hubbert. Morgan was baptized at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Indianola. Morgan spent his childhood in Indianola, attending Indianola Schools and later Southwest High School.

Although Morgan endured health challenges in his life, he always had a smile on his face. Morgan was a very outgoing young person and never knew a stranger. He enjoyed watching sports, playing cards and especially pool. Morgan was in several pool leagues and could be found downtown near a pool table ready to play. He had a beautiful voice and enjoyed sing karaoke.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gail in November of 2010; paternal grandparents, Glen "Pete" and Helen Hubbert.

He is survived his father, Kenneth; sister, Shelby; brother, Kyle, all of Indianola; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Murietta Proud of Bartley, Nebraska; and many aunts and uncles.

Funeral mass was at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Indianola with Father Tom Meguire officiating. Interment was in the Indianola Cemetery in Indianola.
