OBERLIN, Kansas -- Lorri L. Wilson, 55, died Friday (Feb. 4, 2011) at her home in Oberlin, Kansas.

She was born Feb. 10, 1955, in Fairbury, Nebraska to Everett and Nellie (Ross) Gerdes and was raised in Oberlin. She graduated from Decatur Community High School in 1973 and attended medical assistant schooling in Denver, Colorado.

She lived in Greeley, Colorado, where she was a body shop manager and a member of the Ladies Harley Owners of Greeley and the United Methodist Church. She returned to Oberlin in August 2010.

Survivors include her parents, Everett and Nellie Gerdes of Oberlin; a daughter Lacee and husband, Matt Cantu of Evans, Colorado, a son, Douglas and wife, Faye Gerdes of Macon, Georgia, and one grandchild.

Services will be held at a later date.

Pauls Funeral Home of Oberlin is in charge of arrangements.
