Jacob, Karre exchange vows

Tiffany and Owen Karre

McCOOK, Nebraska -- Tiffany Dawn Jacob and Owen Patrick Karre, both of McCook, were united in marriage on Oct. 2, 2010, at First Congregational Church in McCook with the Rev. Steve Bales officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mark Jacob of Florida, and Michelle and Kurt Proud, Janet Karre and Richard Karre, all of Nebraska.

The bride's grandparents are Sherry Hornkohl of Nebraska, the late Cecil Hornkohl, Sam and Mary Jacob of Florida, Lee Courange of Oklahoma and the late Victor Courange. The bridegroom's grandparents are the late Arnold and Laurene Karre, and the late Keith and Betsy Loveland.

The matron of honor was sister of the bride, Megan Duckworth of Nebraska. The bridesmaids were sisters of the bride, Melissa Jacob of Florida and Taryn Jacob of Nebraska, Magan Dolan, and sister of the bridegroom, Elizabeth Karre, both of Nebraska. The bride's personal attendant was step-sister of the bride, Ryann Proud.

The best man was Jose Dimas of Nebraska. The bridegroomsmen were Tony Steinhour, Jerry Deaver, Brett Teal, and Andrew Shepard, all of Nebraska.

The flower girls were nieces of the bride, Ella Duckworth and Lauren Sladek, and cousin of the bride, Paige Wolcott, all of Nebraska.

The ushers were Jessie Adams and brother of the bride, Bryan Duckwork, both of Nebraska.

The guest book and program attendant was Alyssa Lambert of Nebraska. Music was provided by pianist Patsy Fisher of Nebraska, and step-sister of the bride, Ryann Proud.

A reception took place at the Community Building at the Red Willow County Fairgrounds in McCook. The food preparation was done by Michelle and Kurt Proud, Sherry Hornkohl and Vicki Courange, all of Nebraska. The host couple were David and Rebecca Wolcott, who also helped in preparing the food. The cake servers were Norma Quick and Vicki Courange, both of Nebraska.
