Harold R. Naugle

ROSEVILLE, California -- Harold R. Naugle, 78, died Friday (Oct. 15, 2010), in Roseville.
He was born Aug. 29, 1932, to Rex and Minnie (Pollmann) Naugle in Hitchcock County, Nebraska. He was educated in the Trenton, Nebraska public schools, graduating in 1950.
In 1957, he married Joy Breinig.
He served three years in the U.S. Navy before his honorable discharge in 1953. Afterwards he was a partner with his father in Naugle and Son Texaco Service in Arapahoe, Nebraska. He began a 25 year career with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation in 1961, serving on projects in McCook, Nebraska, Farmington, New Mexico, and Tranquility, Placerville and Auburn, California. He then worked for Placer County, California prior to his retirement in 1992.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Wayne.
He is survived by his wife Joy Naugle; daughters, Shana and husband, Roy Hardy of Pollock Pines, California; Shari and husband, Otis Myers of Spanaway, Washington, Sheila and husband, Chris Kruse of Roseville; son, Mark and wife, Laura Naugle of Roseville; sister-in-law, Dee (Naugle) Leff of Holdrege, Nebraska; two nieces, a nephew, and many grandchildren.
Memorial services are Saturday, 11 a.m., at Sierra Christian Church, 5645 Rocklin Road, Loomis, California.
