OBERLIN, Kansas -- Eric B. Farr, 25, died Tuesday (Oct. 5, 2010), in Decatur County, Kansas.

He was born Nov. 14, 1984 in Hugo, Colorado to Jerry D. and Wanda M. (Pierce) Farr. He attended Oberlin Elementary and Decatur Community High School.

He farmed after high school on a farm near Clayton, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Gwendolyn Farr.

He is survived by his parents, Jerry Farr of Clayton and Wanda Farr of Jennings, Kansas; special friend, Desiree Vilar of Clayton; son, Justice Farr of Clayton; brothers, Matt Farr and wife, Tiffanie of Oberlin, and Wiley Farr and girlfriend, Ashli Samson of Oberlin; grandparents, Bill and Ina Marie Goodnight of Oberlin; and great-grandmother, Faye Quador of Danbury, Nebraska.

Funeral services are Saturday, 2:30 p.m., at the United Methodist Church in Oberlin.
