John Franklin Wederski

Nov. 12, 1935--Sept. 24, 2010

CAVE CREEK, Arizona -- He was born and raised in Stratton, Nebraska; the son of Elijah and Sarah (Bramblett) Wederski. He excelled in sports and graduated from Stratton High School in 1955.

He was in the U.S. Army from 1955-59. He married Darlene Bowish in 1957 and married Ada in 1984. Both preceded him in death.

John is survived by two daughters, Karmin Loraine Lynan, and Rhonda Wederski; grandson, Jeffry; brothers, Wesley "Joe" Wederski of Texas, Phillip Wederski of Indianola, Nebraska; sisters, Nancy Vrbas, Elisabeth Kleckner, and Sharon Morris, all of McCook, Nebraska, and Carol Swerzek of North Platte, Nebraska.

Funeral services are Friday, 10 a.m., in Cave Creek. Burial will follow with full military honors.
