McCOOK, Nebraska -- Faye Jeanette Burgett, 62, died Wednesday (Sept. 15, 2010), at Bryan LGH East in Lincoln, Nebraska.

She was born in Oceanside, California to Robert L. and Doris J. (Sieu) Greer on Feb. 29, 1948.

She attended the Evangelical Free Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Schwing; sister, Catherine; and a son in infancy.

She is survived by her former husband, William Burgett of San Diego, California; sons, David Schwing, Eric Schwing and wife, Erin, all of McCook, and Michael Burgett and wife, Christie of Redding, California; significant other, Don Larson of McCook; sisters, Bobbie Beeson and husband, Bob of Santee, California, Liz White of Imperial Beach, California, Mary Ann Cross and husband, Bob of Fort Worth, Texas; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Evangelical Free Church.

Funeral services are Thursday, 4 p.m., at the Evangelical Free Church with the Rev. Bruce Lester officiating. Inurnment will be in California at a later date.
