OMAHA, Nebraska -- Carolyn "Connie" Bowen died Aug. 27, 2010.

She was preceded in death by husband, Norval E. Bowen; parents, Ramond and Edna Parker; brother, Gayle Parker; sister-in-law, Edna Zuehlk; brother-in-law, Francis "Tad" Bowen.

She is survived by children, Steven and wife, Carol of Lincoln, Nebraska, Robert and wife, Patricia of Omaha, Nebraska, Richard and wife, Brentleigh of Omaha, Susan and husband, Al Wenstrand of Destin, Florida, Barbara and husband, David Splichal of Bellevue, Nebraska; brother, Duane and wife, Mary Parker; sisters-in-law, Auretta Parker and Bonnie Bowen; brother-in-law, Al Zuehlk; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are Wednesday, 10 a.m., at West Center Chapel in Omaha. Interment is at Fairview Cemetery located south of Papillion, Nebraska.

Visitation is Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. with family receiving friends from 6--8 p.m. at the West Center Chapel.

Memorials are asked to Papillion Area Community Band.
