Wheeler Family
WAUNETA, Nebraska -- Graveside inurnment services for Gerald Wheeler, who died May 30, 2010; his wife, Frieda Wheeler, who died on Dec. 21, 2009; and their son, Glenn, who died Feb. 5, 1988 are Friday, 10:30 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Wauneta with the Rev. Kevin McGraw officiating.
A memorial has been established in their honor.
Liewer Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Gerald Wheeler
Gerald C. Wheeler, 88, of Louisville, Kentucky, died May 30, 2010 at the Masonic Home.
He was a school orchestra teacher/director and building contractor in Idaho, Wyoming, and Nebraska before moving to Louisville in 2001.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frieda; son, Glenn, and eight brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his brother, Wesley Wheeler and wife, Marjorie of rural Wauneta; his daughter, Barbara of Louisville; and two brothers, Carroll and Wesley.
Frieda Wheeler
Frieda Wheeler, 89, of Louisville, died Dec. 21, 2009 at the Masonic Home.
She was a China painter for many years.
She was preceded in death by her son, Glenn Wheeler; and brother, Homer Paxton.
At the time of her death survivors included her husband, Gerald Wheeler; and daughter Barbara Wheeler.
Glenn Wheeler
Glenn Wheeler, 37, of Portland, Oregon, died Feb. 5, 1988.
He was born in 1950 and graduated with a degree in Music from Kearney State College and worked primarily in construction-related jobs.
