JOPLIN, Missouri -- Cheryl Ann Fuller, 58, died June 9, 2010, at Freeman Heart Institute at Freeman Hospital in Joplin.
She was born Jan. 19, 1952, in McCook, Nebraska to Kenneth and Myrtle (Ritz) Fuller. She grew up on the family farm and graduated from Beaver Valley High School in Lebanon, Nebraska. She worked at TRW until it closed. She lived in Omaha, Nebraska for several years, and then returned home in 1989 to care for her father.
Later she moved to North Platte, Nebraska and attended North Platte Community College, and graduated as a medical technician. She worked in Fort Morgan, Colorado for several years.
In 2000, she met her life partner, Donna Miller from Nevada, Missouri. At that time, she moved to Missouri to be with her.
In Missouri, she worked at Barton County Memorial Hospital in Lamar, Missouri as a medical technician in the laboratory.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Zeke and Catherine Ritz, Jim and Gladys Fuller; her parents; and brothers, Robert and Richard Dale.
Survivors include her life partner of 10 years, Donna Lynn Miller; two sisters, Ramona Koch and her husband, Gilbert of Eustis, Nebraska, Nancy Kimsey and her husband, Warren of Stayton, Oregon; and brother, Larry Fuller of Sublimity, Oregon; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Graveside services are on Friday at 2 p.m. in Wilsonville, Nebraska followed by a memorial service on June 26, 2010, beginning at 3 p.m. at the Lamar Park in Lamar.
Lockenour Jones Mortuary of Cambridge is in charge of services.
