Wilfred G. 'Fudd' Decker

LINCOLN, Nebraska -- Wilfred G. "Fudd" Decker, 62, died Sunday (April 11, 2010) surrounded by family and friends at his home in Lincoln.

He was born in Imperial on May 10, 1947, to Zenas E. and Bessie M. Hawkins Decker. He grew up in Palisade, graduating from Palisade High School in 1965.

He joined the Nebraska Air National Guard in 1967, serving until his retirement in 2002.

He married Linda M. Pryor of McCook in 1971.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Dell Decker.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Decker of Lincoln; three sons, Joey and wife, Kathy Decker of Lincoln, Corey and wife, Laura of Victor, New York, Nathan and wife, Lacey of Plainfield, Illinois; three brothers, Harold and wife, Sunya Decker of McCook, Dwayne and wife, Doris of Citrus Heights, California, and Arlis Decker of Sutherland; one sister, Phyllis and husband, Richard Willerton of North Platte; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were April 15, 2010, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home.
