Ariel Marie O'Brien

INDIANOLA -- Ariel Marie O'Brien, age 19 months, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 7, 2010, at McCook Community Hospital, McCook, Neb.

Ariel was born on Aug. 6, 2008, at McCook to Eric Vincent and Larisa Jean (Pohousky) O'Brien. She lived with her family in the country near Indianola where she loved to pet the horses and play with her cats and dogs.

Ariel also loved to dance and sing, play with her dollies and carry her very important purse with all her treasures. She loved her family time at meals. Among her favorites were Spaghetti O's, macaroni and cheese, and chicken nuggets.

Preceding her in death were her great-grandparents, Elton Oliver, Donald and Donna O'Brien, Samuel Pohousky, Sr., and Merel Wheeler.

Survivors include her parents, Eric and Larisa O'Brien of Indianola; big brother, Tanner O'Brien of the home; maternal grandparents, Skip and Suzanne Pohousky of Carbondale, Colo.; paternal grandparents, Dennis and Judy O'Brien of Shelton; great-grandparents, Lillian Oliver of Shelton, Florence Wheeler of Montrose, Colo., and Rose Pohousky of St. Charles, Mo.; uncles and aunt, Aaron Pohousky of Hawk Point, Mo., Craig O'Brien of Shelton, and Adam and Angie O'Brien of Lincoln; numerous great-uncles and great-aunts.

Memorials may be given in her name.

Visitation will be today from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friends may sign her book at the funeral home or go online at www.carpenterbreland.com to extend condolences.

Rosary will be Thursday, March 11, 7 p.m. at Carpenter Breland Chapel. Funeral services will be Friday, March 12, 10 a.m. at Carpenter Breland Chapel with Father Gary Brethour officiating.
