Stations turn on high-definition digital signals

Friday, March 5, 2010

Viewers of NTV and KFXL FOX Nebraska in the McCook area are now able to enjoy programming in HD. NTV's (ABC) HD signal can be found on channel 29.1 and KFXL FOX Nebraska's (FOX) HD signal can be found on channel 29.2.

The analog signals for both stations (currently channels 40 and 42) are scheduled to cease broadcasting on March 19.

Viewers who rely on analog over-the-air service will lose reception of our programming unless they use a DTV receiver or a converter box that is hooked up to their existing analog television. Converter boxes can be purchased from area electronics retailers and on-line.

It is important to "rescan" the DTV receiver or converter box if you are having problems receiving our HD signals.
