Walburn, Swartz wedding
BIG SKY, Mont. -- Caroline Cole Walburn and Thomas Joseph Swartz were united in marriage in a mountainside ceremony on August 22, 2009, at Moonlight Basin Resort in Big Sky, Mont., followed by a reception at the Moonlight Basin Lodge.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. John and Kathy Walburn of Omaha and the granddaughter of Pauline Walburn of Cambridge, the late Norman Walburn and the late John and Doris Malloy.
The bridegroom is the son of the Honorable Stephen and Karen Swartz of Omaha and the grandson of the late Cliff and Hanora Swartz and the late Ruben and Catherine Coleman.
The maid of honor was Anna Walburn, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Molly Cheek and Megan Williams, sisters of the bride, and Norah Morris, sister of the bridegroom.
The best man was Michael Swartz, brother of the bridegroom. Bridegroomsmen were Mark Horton, brother of the bride, and Mark Jaworski and Jared Bataillon.
The bride graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and a law degree from Creighton University in Omaha.
The bridegroom graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Kansas University in Lawrence and a dental degree from Creighton University in Omaha.
The bride and bridegroom are both employed in Omaha, where they will make their home in the Dundee neighborhood.
