ST. FRANCIS -- Betty Jean (Potthoff) Orth, 63, died Thursday (Sept. 24, 2009) in St. Francis.

She was born Dec. 3, 1945, in Wray, Colo. She married Gordon Orth. She worked as an accountant.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon in June of 2009.

Survivors include her sister, Shirley Blakeney of San Diego, Calif.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, 1 p.m., at Salem Lutheran Church at St. Francis. Burial will follow in the Salem Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be today until 9 p.m., at Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis.

Memorials may be given to the St. Francis High School Music Scholarship.
