Charlotte Mook

SALEM, Ore. -- Charlotte Mook, age 95, of Salem, Ore., passed away peacefully on Sept. 25, 2008.
She was born June 20, 1913, in Bloomington, Neb., to May (Kerr) Mook and Charles Mook. She attended Bloomington High School. Later, she moved with her family to Lebanon and lived there several years.
Soon after the beginning of World War II she moved to Loveland, Colo., and lived there until the 1950s when she moved to Salem. While in Oregon she was an cosmetology instructor for many years.
She was a member of the Chadwick Chapter of Eastern Star, White Shrine of Eastern Star and Amaranth Masonic Group in Salem. She was the Grand Worthy Matron of Eastern Star more than once.
Charlotte had a way with animals and cherished her many pet dogs and cats over the years. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved participating in sports. She was extremely kind hearted and helpful to all.
Memorials may be given in her name.
Her funeral services were at Pioneer Village in Salem. She will be interred at the Lebanon Cemetery.
She leaves to mourn her many friends in Salem; her cousin, Virgil Dunbar and his wife, Lorraine of Portland, Ore., and her niece, Ann Mook Barton and her husband, Charles of Lincoln.
