Lynette Stitt and Jesse Chmiel were married May 24, 2008, at McCook Christian Church with Clark Bates officiating.
Parents of the couple are Dick and Marilyn Stitt of McCook and Ray Chmiel and Shirley Chmiel, both of McCook.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Edgar and Alice Boyle of ONeill and Virginia Chmiel of Fort Worth, Texas.
Matron of honor was Marilyn Stitt of McCook, mother of the bride. Bridesmaids were Michelle Neel of Fort Collins, Colo., cousin of the bride, Jennifer Chmiel of Lincoln, sister of the bridegroom, Jamie Stitt of Axtell sister-in-law of the bride and Renee Felber of McCook.
Best man was Brett Chmiel of Hays, Kan., brother of the bridegroom. Bridegroomsmen were Joe Townsley of McCook, Jim Loecker of Omaha, Derek Chmiel of McCook, brother of the bridegroom and Danny Stitt of Axtell, brother of the bride.
Flower girls were Allie Stitt of Axtell, niece of the bride and Shelbi Hazlitt and Cinamon Hazlitt, both of McCook.
Ringbearers were James Neel of McCook, cousin of the bride, Austin Streeter of Thermopolis, Wyo., cousin of the bride and Ben Walter of Fort Collins, Colo., cousin of the bride.
Candlelighters were JoAnn Neel of McCook and Sam Streeter of Thermopolis, Wyo., both cousins of the bride.
Ushers were Chris Neel of McCook, cousin of the bride, Brandon Fichtner of McCook and Stephen Smock of McCook.
Guest book attendants were Jenny Neel of North Platte and Shanna Waterman of Lincoln both cousins of the bride.
Jean Hester was the pianists, Tamra Neel, cousin of the bride and Stephen Smock were the soloists.
Beth O'Dea of McCook and Shirley Chmiel of McCook, mother of the bridegroom helped with flowers and decorating.
A reception and dance was at the Knights of Columbus Hall in McCook. Host couples were Dick and Joyce Neel of McCook ,aunt and uncle to the bride and Jim and Mary Boyle of Plattsmouth, aunt and uncle of the bridegroom.
The reception assistants were Rita Ohriner of California, aunt of the bridegroom, Carol Elston of Fort Worth, Texas aunt of the bridegroom, Darlene Nothnagel of McCook, aunt of the bride and LeAnna Sackett of Cambridge, aunt of the bride.
The bride is a teller at Lincoln Federal Savings in McCook. The bridegroom works for McCook Contracting.
After a honeymoon in Estes Park, Colo., the couple is making their home in McCook.
