Grant Strunk/McCook Daily Gazette A Holdrege baserunner dives head first into first base on a pickoff attempt from First Central Bank pitcher Drew Peterson to first baseman Keith Wallace Tuesday night at the Jaycee Sports Complex. The First Central juniors lost to Holdrege 12-8. Information on the game was not available at press time. The McCook National Bank Seniors game against Holdrege was rained out. The Seniors play at Elwood Friday and a doubleheader at North Platte Saturday. The Juniors compete in the Holdrege Tournament Friday-Sunday. McCook plays Overton at 2 p.m. and Holdrege at 5 p.m. Friday and St. Paul at 2 p.m. Saturday. The consolation and championship finals are slated for Sunday. The Junior B's play a single game at Benkelman tonight and doubleheaders at Gothenburg Thursday and Colby Saturday.
