Eva Ann (Pyle) Murray

ST. FRANCIS -- Eva Ann (Pyle) Murray, 98, died Thursday (Nov. 15, 2007), at Cheyenne County Hospital in St. Francis.

She was born Feb. 6, 1909, in Cheyenne County Hospital in St. Francis.

She was married to John Murray who preceded her in death in 1987. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson and a great-granddaughter.

Survivors include two daughters, Elaine Kogl of Commerce City, Colo., and Hollis DaPron of Bird City; a brother, Dale Lighthill of Oak Harbor, Wash.; a sister, Mildred Ward of California; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday, 11 a.m., at the Immanuel United Methodist Church in Bird City. Interment will follow at the Bird City Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday, 9 a.m.-7 p.m., at Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis.

Memorials may be directed to the Good Samaritan Village in St. Francis.
