Pachta, Ruf engagement
Chris Pachta and Ella Ruf announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
The bride to-be is the daughter of David and Margaret Ruf of Wilsonville.
She is a 2001 graduate of Cambridge High School at Cambridge and completed her Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Doane College in Crete. She is finishing her Master's degree in Agronomy at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kan.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Jim and Marilyn Pachta of Linn, Kan.
He is a 2001 graduate of Linn High School in Linn and completed his Bachelor of Science and Master's degrees in Agronomy at Kansas State University in Manhattan. He is the area agronomist for Farmers Cooperative of Hanover, Kan.
The couple plans an Aug. 25, 2007, ceremony at St. John's Catholic Church in Cambridge.
