McCook Football hosts K-State kicking camp

McCook Football will be hosting the 2nd annual Southwest Nebraska Kicking Camp. This year's camp will once again feature several skill camps. Kicking, Punting, Long and Short Snapping and holding.

Technique will be taught in all phases of each specialty. field goals, extra points, kickoff, directional kicks, punting for distance, punting for accuracy and punting timing.

Kansas State Football is one of the premier Division I football programs in the country. The 2003 Big 12 Champion has played in 12 bowl games in the last 15 years.

Kansas State has long been known as one of the premier special teams units in the country. They have had 4 All-American kickers in the last 15 years in Travis Brown, Martin Gramatica, Sean Snyder and Jamie Rheem.

One of those Al-Americans, Travis Brown will be conducting the instruction during the camp. He is involved in coaching the Kansas State Wildcat kickers.
