Trader basketball camps
YORK -- Mike Trader's Annual Mid-America Basketball Camp will conduct several basketball camps for boys once again this summer.
The dates for the individual camps are June 3-6 and July 22-25. The dates for the team camps are June 30 for a one-day team camp and July 20-21 for a two day team camp.
The individual camp is open to boys 8 years old through 11th grade. The team camp is for boys teams 7th grade and up.
The camp has been one of the most popular camps in the Midwest over the past 20 years. More than 20,000 campers have attended during that time.
This camp is well known for its great teaching of fundamental skills and having outstanding coaches from throughout the nation teaching the campers. It combines the teaching of these skills with team play and contests throughout the camp.
The camp will take place at York College. As mentioned the camp staff will include both top college and prep coaches, all experienced in basketball summer camp work.

Husker men's tennis beats UNK
KEARNEY -- The 63rd-ranked University of Nebraska men's tennis team beat the University of Nebraska-Kearney 8-1 Thursday afternoon in Lincoln.
The 'Huskers improved to 8-9.
The Lopers, facing their second Division I team this year (Arkansas-Little Rock), fell to 8-8.
Junior William Jacome (Miami, Fla.) continues to play strong tennis as he earned a 7-6 (6), 6-3 win at No. 1 singles over freshman David Bendheim.
Jacome, a two-time RMAC Player of the Year, is now 15-1 on the season in singles.
In doubles, Jacome and redshirt freshman Akihiro Sakai lost the tie-breaking point to fall to Bendheim and Francois Van Impe, 8-7 (4).
UNK finishes regular season play today with RMAC matches vs. Western New Mexico and Colorado Christian in Lakewood, Colo.
