Wortman, Poppert engagement

Taressa Wortman and Shawn Poppert

Taressa Leigh Wortman of Cozad and Shawn Michael Poppert of Gothenburg, announce their engagement and wedding. Parents of the couple are Terry and LuAnn Wortman of Hayes Center and Todd and Bambe Poppert of Axtell.

The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Hayes Center High School and a 2004 graduate of the Univiersity of Nebraska at Kearney. She is a first grade teacher at Cozad Elementary School. The prospective bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Axtell High School and works at Baldwin Filters in Gothenburg.

The couple is planning a beach ceremony at Sandals St. Lucia Regency July 20, 2007. A reception for family and friends will be Aug. 11 in Lexington.
