Last week was moving time for all Community Hospital rehabilitation services. Physical therapists Paul Sheets, left, and Steve Thompson move a treatment table in the large physical therapy open gym area in Rehabilitation Center on Friday. Patients using cardiac, pulmonary, speech, physical therapy and occupational therapy services should park and enter at the Rehabilitation Center entrance on the northeast side of the hospital. Community Hospital is proud to announce the completion and opening of the Rehabilitation Center this week. Patients needing rehabilitation services have the convenience of one parking area, one entrance, one admissions desk and one phone number.

Patients scheduled for rehabilitation services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation or speech should park on the northeast side of the hospital and enter through the new Rehabilitation Center en-trance. There is no direct entrance to the Rehabilitation Center from the front parking lot.

A section of parking stalls will be designated for handicapped parking near the rehab center entrance. Other stalls east of the handicapped parking will be designated for rehab patients.

All rehab patients will check in at the main Rehabilitation Center admissions/reception desk. This week an escort is available to direct patients. Any of the rehab departments can be reached by calling one phone number where a receptionist is available to direct your call. Call the Rehabilitation Center at (308) 344-8383.

The public is invited to a grand opening of the Rehabilitation Center from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 29.
