James R. Price

HILDRETH -- James R. Price, 55, died Tuesday (Nov. 21, 2006) at his home in Hildreth.
He was born June 28, 1951, in McCook to William Glenn and Laura Maxine (Broeder) Price. He grew up on the family farm in Stockville and graduated from Bartley High School in 1969. He graduated from Kearney State College in 1973.
He owned and operated Redmans Shoe Store in York for many years. After selling the store, he moved back to Cambridge, to help care for his mother where he lived for more than 12 years.He moved to Hildreth in July 2006, to be closer to his nephew,Mike and his family.
Survivors include one sister, Sandra Condry of Lexington; two nephews; one niece; two great-nephews; and numerous relatives.
He is preceded in death by his brother Bill Price, his parents, and one aunt, Iola Broeder.
Services will be Tuesday,10:30 a.m. at the United Church of Christ in Cambridge with the Rev. Dana Keener officiating. Burial will be in the Stockville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested in his name.
