Ryan Lee Bergling

ATWOOD?-- Ryan Lee Bergling, 18, died Tuesday (June 6, 2006) at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center in Denver, Colo.

He was born May 4, 1988, to Mark and Gail (Dannebohm)?Bergling in Atwood.

He attended grade school through the eighth grade at Atwood Elementary School and had just completed his junior year at Atwood High School.

He was dedicated to Christ as an infant at Herndon Covenant Church. He was baptized at his grandfather's pond in Ellinwood, Kan., in the summer of 2003.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Ramona Dannebohm.

Survivors include his parents, Mark and Gail Bergling; a sister, Jill; and a brother, Blake, all of Ludell; grandparents, Verol and Rosemary Bergling of Atwood, Bob and Dianne Dannebohm of Ellinwood, Kan.; aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, at the United Methodist Church in Atwood, with the Rev. Keith Reuther officiating. Interment will be in the Atwood Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation is today until 8 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials may be addressed to the Ryan Bergling Memorial Scholarship Fund and may be left at the funeral home.
