The McCook Midget Baseball Association opened the 2006 summer baseball season May 19 at Felling Field.

Here are the games for May 19-24:

McCook Midget T-Ball

Community Hospital vs Sooners

Chandler Witt led Community Hospital in hitting with a single and double. Cliff O'Dell also had a single and a double for the Sooners.

Seligman vs D & T Electric

Jon Coburn and Eric Langan led Team Seligman in hitting. Coburn had a double and Langan had a single.

Jole Keen and Ben Bradley both had singles for D & T Electric.

JM Stevens vs

MX Pro Works Racing

Brandon Smith and Drew Harve led Pro Works both with three singles.

Clayton Stevens had three singles for Steven Painting and David Beayers two singles.

Kool Honda vs McCook Eye Clinic

Sam Knoll led Kool Honda with two singles and Bryson Kool had a double.

Easton Gillen had a double and two singles for McCook Eye Clinic and Kade Gray had two singles.

Lions Club vs McCook Clinic

Jaden Bryant and Katelynn Benson led the Lions Club both with three singles.

Kyli Scott and Caitlin Hiatt both had three singles for the McCook Clinic.

Century 21 vs JM Stevens Painting

Victoria Beasley and Allison Johnson were the leading hitters for JM Stevens, both with three singles.

Elisa Stevens had three singles for Century 21 and Jenna Gillen had two singles.

McCook Midget Baseball Sluggers

First Central 6, Bison Dental 4.

Spencer Powell was the leading hitter for First Central with two doubles. Teammate Grant Oberg had two singles. Gavin Klie led Bison Dental with a triple and Coy Terry had 2 singles.

Southwest Nebraska Physical Therapy 13, Century 21 3

Stephen Kirk led SWN Physical Therapy with a single and a double and Caleb Sheets had three singles. Travis Wallen had three singles for Century 21 and Payton Stagemeyer had a single and a double.

Deveny 13, School Reflections 8

Kasey Taylor hit three singles and a double for Deveny. Teammate Mitchell Reitz had a double and two singles. Trevor Matson had three singles for School Reflections and Levi Baughman had a single and a double.

McCook Optimists 17,

First Central Bank 7

Drew Psota put in three singles for McCook Optimists and Frankie Williams had a double. Luke Lichty hit three singles for First Central and Spencer Powell had two singles.

McCook Midget Baseball Cubs

Sears Red Sox 12, Parker Yankees 1.

The Red Sox walked the Yankees only allowing player to score. Sean Backer and James Knowles led the Red Sox in hits both with a single.

McCook Eye Clinic 7,

Union Bank and Trust 2

Conner Stamm and Logan Koetter were the leading hitters for the McCook Eye Clinic both with a double. Skyler Kalinski had double for Union Bank and Jake Schlager had a single.

McCook National Bank 5,

The Sports Shoppe 4

Lucas Post hit a home run for McCook National. Teammate James Kain had a single and a double. Jon Spilinek had a double for The Sports Shoppe and Dylan Samway hit a single.

Angels 4, Indians 2

Zane Fahrenbruch had a double for the Angels and Spencer Bruntz had a single. Trevor VanPelt hit a singe and a double for the Indians and Tanner Teel had a single.

White Sox 13, Cubs 1

Brandon Lucas hit three singles for the White Sox and Justin Terry had 2. Cade Hiatt had two singles for the Cubs and Cody Wudtke had one.
