Manker, Snoke wedding
NORTH PLATTE -- Lacey Manker and Jon Snoke were united in marriage Saturday, Nov. 19, 2005, at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in North Platte with the Rev. Robert Deardoff officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mike and Neva Manker of Indianola and Eldon and Ruth Snoke of Humboldt.
Grandparents of the couple are Albert Kastens of Ludell, Kan., the late Arlene Kastens, Vernon Manker of McCook, the late Laura Manker, Lydia Norton of Chillicothe, Ohio, the late Albert Norton, Clifford Snoke of Humboldt and the late Florence Snoke.
The bride's sister, Lanay Manker of Kearney, served as maid of honor. Andrea Wilken of Kearney served as bridesmaid.
Terry Horky of Sargent served as best man and Mike Hadley of Loomis served as bridegroomsman.
Ushers and candlelighters were Jason Broome of Tecumseh, brother-in-law of the bridegroom; Lance Manker of Hays, Kan., brother of the bride; and Matt Steinblock of Auburn.
Grace Broome of Tecumseh, niece of the bridegroom, served as flowergirl and Elijah Kastens of Herndon, cousin of the bride, served as guestbook attendant. Jean Nieden of North Platte provided organ music and Lanay Manker and Adam Wolford of Lincoln were vocalists.
A dinner reception followed the ceremony in the fellowship hall of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. Assisting at the reception were Hilda Wilken, Judy Rundback and Joyce Piskorski, all of North Platte. Missy Broome of Tecumseh and Alisha Snoke of Tulsa, Okla., sisters of the bridegroom, served the wedding cake.
The couple honeymooned in Branson, Mo.
The bride is employed by Baskins, Pederson and Troshynski in North Platte and the bridegroom is employed by Ag Valley Co-op in Maywood. They are making their home in Curtis.
