Rick Allen Bridgmon

PALISADE -- Rick Allen Bridgmon, 50, died Friday (Oct. 7, 2005) at Chase County Hospital in Imperial.

He was born Feb. 23, 1955, to Raymond Lyle and Ruth Marie (Edghill) Bridgmon in McCook. He graduated from Denver Lincoln High School in 1973. He moved to Palisade in 2004.

He married Brenda Cudd on June 5, 1982, at Edmond, Okla.

He was a marketing executive for Lamont Marketing of Minneapolis, Minn., until becoming a truck driver for various companies, most recently Briggs and Sons of Imperial.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gladys and Harold "Pop" Edghill and George and Jean Bridgmon.

Survivors include his daughter, Lacey Bridgmon of Edmond, Okla.; parents, Ray and Ruth Bridgmon of Palisade; one brother, Craig Bridgmon and wife, Barbara of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one sister, Kristy Bridgmon of Denver, Colo.; two nephews; and numerous relatives and friends.

Services will be Tuesday, 11 a.m., at the Palisade United Methodist Church with the Rev. Judith Dye officiating. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.

Visitation will be today, until 8 p.m., at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home in McCook and Tuesday, 9-10 a.m., at the church in Palisade. Condolences can be left at www.carpenterbreland.com.
