Frances Nadine (Merklin) Miller

CAMBRIDGE -- Frances Nadine (Merklin) Miller, 77, entered into rest Friday, Sept. 23, 2005, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital.
Frances was born Aug. 24, 1928, in Benkleman on the family farm. She was the oldest child of L.E. "Shorty" and Myrtle (Wyant) Merklin.
She was married to Albert Miller on Feb. 3, 1947, in St. Francis, Kan.
In heaven, Frances will join her parents L.E. and Myrtle; two granddaughters, Anna Garcia and Stephanie Gonzales; one great-grandson, Jonathan Garcia; and daughter in-in-law, Diane Miller.
Frances will be missed very much by Albert Miller and children, Bonita and husband, Al Garcia and Sherry and husband, Steve Gonzales of McCook; Wynn and wife, Dyanna Miller, Garold and wife, Lora Miller of Cambridge, Ronald and wife, Deanna Miller of Arapahoe, Tim and wife, Linda Miller of Flagstaff, Ariz., Chet and wife, Melanie Miller of Pisgah, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Janice Dey of Lawrence, Kan., Lenna and husband, Fred Studer of Goodland, Kan., Leon and wife, Dolly Merklin of St. Francis, Charles and wife, Barbara Merklin of Bird City, Kan., William Merklin of Kismit, Kan., Dale Merklin of Mesa, Ariz., Gary and wife, Peggy Merklin of Malvern, Iowa, and Marlin and Peggy of Liberal, Kan., along with many nieces and nephews.
Frances was cremated and a private family services took place at the Lockenour-Jones Mortuary Sunday, Sept. 25, 2005, in Cambridge.
