COLUMBUS -- The McCook Rebels 16 and under girls fastpitch softball team posted a 3-1-1 record at the Columbus Fire and Ice Invitational last weekend.
Saturday's first game was against Columbus Bullets and ended in a 2-2 tie.
Ashley Carfield, Stephanie Douglas and Tori Davis each singled.
Stephanie Douglas pitched a three-hitter, walking none and striking out 15.
The second game Saturday was against the Golden Girls Black from Norfolk and ended in an 8-4 win.
Cody Korus and Courtney Wudkte each had two hits. Marissa Wallace, Austin Wilson and Tori Davis each had a single.
Marissa Wallace pitched, giving up eight hits, walking none and striking out three.
Saturday's last game was with the Nebraska Storm ending in a 3-2 win.
Jessie Einsphar and Austin Wilson each tripled, Marissa Wallace doubled and Cody Korus singled.
Stephanie Douglas pitched, giving up four hits, walking one and striking out 12.
Sunday's 1st game was against the Grand Island Scorpions ending in an 11-1 win.
Hailee Koetter tripled and had two singles batting in four RBIs, Cody Korus had two singles and Jessie Einsphar and Austin Wilson each singled.
Marissa Wallace pitched a no-hitter, walking one and striking out six.
In the semifinal game, the McCook Rebels had a re-match with the Columbus Bullets ending with a 2-3 loss.
Marissa Wallace had a home run and drove in two runs. Cody Korus and Jess Einsphar each singled.
Stephanie Douglas pitched, giving up seven hits, walking none and striking out nine.
The Rebels will be in North Platte Thursday for two games with the North Platte Sensations and in Holdrege this weekend for the Holdrege Tournament.

splits with Cozad
COZAD -- The McCook Rebels 10 and under girls fastpitch softball team was back in action in Cozad last Friday night.
McCook lost the first game 2-1.
Kaylee Samway pitched the complete game. She struck out two and walked only one batter.
Marisa Esch and Khyla Krepcik each had singles while Esch also added an RBI.
Kassidy Gillen scored the lone run of the game after being hit by a pitch.
In the second game, McCook won 12-4.
Marisa Esch, Madison Chitwood and Khyla Krepcik shared the pitching duties.
Brittany Broomfield, Megan Ruppert, Madison Chitwood, Kaylee Samway, Khyla Krepcik and Riley Allen all had singles.
Broomfield, Ruppert, Chitwood, Samway, Krepcik and Allen all drove in runs for the Rebels.
The next game for the 10 and under Rebels will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
They will be playing a doubleheader at Lexington against the Lightning.
