Daryl Lee Sorenson

IMPERIAL -- Daryl Lee Sorensen, 37, died Tuesday (June 7, 2005).
He was born Feb. 17, 1968, at Minden, to Ronald and Linda (Hultgren) Sorensen. He was baptized March 10, 1968, in St. John's Church in Minden, and was confirmed on April 24, 1980, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church at Seward. He moved with his family to Milford and attended Milford Public Schools. He graduated from Milford High School in 1986 He attended Curtis Technical College where he played basketball, graduated in 1988. Daryl worked during and after college as a DJ. A bull-rider, he once rode the undefeated "Red Rock." He moved to Imperial in 1995 where he worked for Frenchman Valley Coop.
He married Jennifer McNabb on June 19, 1999, at Imperial. They moved to Longmont, Colo. in 2000 where he worked as a car salesman and a delivery truck driver for Beverage Express. He moved back to Imperial in October 2002, and drove truck for Mock Trucking until becoming an independent owner-operator.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anton and Irene Sorensen and Charles and Cleo Hultgren.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer of Imperial; two sons, Cody of Leigh, and Trevor of Imperial; parents, Ron and Linda Sorensen of Milford; and four brothers, Roger and wife Cindy, Keith and wife Peggy, Kurt and wife Tiffany, and Kyle, all of Milford.
Services were today at 2 p.m. (MDT) at Crossroads Wesleyan Church at Imperial with the Rev. Todd Burpo officiating. Interment will be at Blue Mound Cemetery at Milford on Saturday at 2 p.m. (CDT).
Memorials are suggested to the family.
