Shane Michael Miller

BEAVER CITY -- Shane Michael Miller, 15, of Goodwell, Okla., died Thursday (May 19, 2005), at Elkhart, Kan. as a result of an automobile accident.
He was born Dec. 28, 1989 in McCook to Todd and Kelly (Tomlinson) Miller.
He grew up in Oklahoma, and was to complete his freshman year at Yarbrough High School in Goodwell,Okla. on May 20, 2005. He was a 2004 Homecoming King, was student council secretary-treasurer, on the quiz bowl team, and played saxophone in the high school band. He was an avid sports participant, and attended a church youth group.
Preceding him in death were his great grandparents, Richard and Christine Weaver, and Lloyd and Halcyon Miller; great-grandfather, Percy Minary; and step-grandfather, Melvin Measur.
Survivors include his parents, Kelly Pike and husband, Brad Shores of Goodwell, Okla.; father, Todd Miller of Colo.; step-father, Jay Pike of Elwood; three brothers, Kenneth Pike of Goodwell, Okla., William and Robert Miller; two sisters, Tasha and Ashley Pike of Goodwell, Okla.; grandparents, Steve and Linda Tomlinson of Beaver City, Boyd and Nancy Miller of Culbertson, Barbara Measur of Culbertson, and Anesia Shores of Goodwell, Okla.; and great-grandmother, Dorothy Minary of McCook.
Services were Saturday (May 21, 2005) at the Wenburg Funeral Home in Beaver City.
