Roberta A. O'Leary

ST. FRANCIS -- Roberta Rose O'Leary, 79, died Wednesday (March 16, 2005) at Cheyenne County Hospital in St. Francis.

She was born Sept. 5, 1925, in Indianola.

She was a nursing home administrator.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jim O'Leary in 2000.

Survivors include her son, Ronald O'Leary of Topeka, Kan.; daughter, Janice Krien of St. Francis; brothers, Louis Ostdiek of North Glenn, Calif., and J.D. Ostdiek of Fresno, Calif.; sisters, Erma Johnson of Benkelman, Yvonne Eggers of Bird City and Kathleen Ham of Benkelman; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

Services are Monday, 10 a.m., at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in St. Francis. Interment will be in Benkelman Cemetery in Benkelman at 12:15 (MST).

Vigil service is Sunday, 7:30 p.m., at Knodel Funeral Home.

Visitation is Sunday, 1-9 p.m., at Knodel Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to the Senior Center and Cheyenne County Hospital, both of St. Francis.

Knodel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
