STOCKVILLE -- Kenneth Corwin Crawford, 46, of Curtis, formerly of Stockville, died Sunday (March 13, 2005) at Great Plains Regional Medical Center in North Platte.

He was born April 27, 1958, in Cozad to Joe L. and Margaret Nelson Crawford. He graduated from Maywood High School in 1976 and later attended Mid Plains Community College in North Platte.

Over the past years, he has been employed by many area farmers and had worked in custom harvesting. He worked for the Frontier County Fair Board during fair time. For the past year and a half he lived at Hillside Estates in Curtis.

He was a member of the I.O.O.F. No. 179 of Stockville and had been a member of the Stockville Village Board for ten years.

Preceded in death by his parents and a half-brother, Wilson Eugene "Bill" Baker.

Survivors include two sisters, Geraldine and husband, Jim Lesher of Lincoln and Kathleen and husband, Mike "Bo" Kehler of Greeley; uncle, Jon (Dayle) Nelson of New Lenox, Ill.; and two aunts, Alice Vaughn of Curtis and RoJean Gutherless of North Platte.

Services are Wednesday, 10:30 a.m., at the Congregational Church in Stockville with Raymond Durner officiating. Burial is in the Arbor Cemetery, Stockville. Final Rites by I.O.O.F. Lodge No. 179 of Stockville.

Visitation is Tuesday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., at Blase-Wetzel Funeral Home in Curtis.

Memorials may be given to Hillside Estates in Curtis or the Arbor Cemetery Association.
