CULBERTSON -- Icyle Yvonne Wright, 69, died Tuesday (Dec. 14, 2004) at her home in Culbertson.

She was born July 1, 1935, to William and Stella (Hewitt) Sayre in Evans, W.V. She grew up in Wonderland, Ohio where she attended high school.

On Sept. 6, 1956, she married James E. Wright. The couple returned to Ohio before moving to Culbertson in 1967, where the couple spent the remainder of their lives. She was employed with Gibsons Discount Center in McCook and for many years she operated a day care center.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1994; an infant son, Lucas Paul Wright; two brothers, Clinton Yates Jr., and William Sayre; and three sisters, Donnis Brandon, Delores Davis and Darlene Sagar.

Survivors include three daughters, Mollie Wright of Longmont, Colo., Jamie Meyers and husband, Allen of Sadona, Alaska and Angel Nitzel and husband, LeRoy of Arapahoe; two sons, Shane Wright of Bridgeport and Quinton Wright and wife, Angela of Grand Island; two brothers, Bob Sayre of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and Jim Sayre of Columbus, Ohio; and four grandchildren.

Graveside services are Friday, 2 p.m., at the Culbertson Cemetery in Culbertson.

Memorials may be given in her name and left at Herrmann Funeral Home.
