"Our pressure defense was a big factor and the team responed well by not getting fatigued. Only giving up two points in the second half was a tremendous team effort. We shot the ball better (50 percent) and were patient on offense, as the team accumalated 14 assists.
"The biggest stat of the game was our assist margin. We scored 28 field goals, of which 14 came from assists, which showed very unselfish basketball. The team played some great defense and continued to show signs of improvement as a whole."
Wiemers said several players contributed to the winning effort.
"Josh did a nice job on both ends of the court," Wiemers said. "He is an outstanding hustler and is developing a scorers mentality. Brock played a strong game inside leading the team in rebounding. John also played well, as he lead us in rebounds and steals. I was pleased with his offense and determination to score.
"All seven players contributed to the win in some asspect of the game. They are a great group to work with, as they work hard and compete at a high level."
