Nellie Seybold

TRENTON -- Nellie Seybold, 91, died Thursday (Dec. 9, 2004) at El Dorado Manor in Trenton.

She was born Dec. 31, 1912, to George Washington and Ida Belle (Ridgley) Ridgley in Bloomington. She grew up in Naponee and attended school in rural Hayes County.

On Aug. 22, 1931, she married Lloyd Seybold in Atwood. The couple lived in Hitchcock and Dundy County before moving to Hershey in 1954. They then moved to Paxton in 1959.

After the death of her husband Oct. 9, 1981, she moved to Trenton, moving to El Dorado Manor in September 2003.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lloyd; four brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Leo Seybold and wife, LaVon of Overton and Robert Seybold and Georgia of Libby, Mont.; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Services are Monday, 2 p.m., at Herrmann Funeral Chapel in McCook with the Rev. Dan Spearow officiating. Cremation will follow the service and inurnment will be at a later date.

Visitation is Monday until service time.

Memorials may be given in her name and left at the funeral home.
