Moreau seen with three men the night he died

The investigation into the death of Moreau is continuing. His body was found early Sunday morning in the parking lot at the McCook Housing Agency. An autopsy report showed he died of blunt force trauma to the head.

According to witnesses, Moreau was seen at LaCocina Restaurant between 12:30 and 1 a.m. with three unidentified men. Despite rumors that Moreau had several hundred dollars on him that he won playing pickle cards, witnesses at LaCocina and Sarge's Bar say he did not win money at either of those two establishments.

He is survived by two sons, Christopher Moreau of Culbertson and Billy Moreau and wife, Kim of Maywood; his mother, Ruth Moreau of McCook; special friend, Vicki Drake of McCook; two brothers, Johnnie Moreau of Edison and Roger Moreau and wife, Patsy of McCook; five sisters, Larea Cameron of Colorado, Rose Ann and husband, Richard Wright of Capitan, N.M., Rebecca Herron of Lincoln, Cathleen Blanton and Colleen McVicker and husband, Mel, all of Palisade.
