Velma V. Wederski

BEAVER CITY -- Velma V. Wederski, 83, died Tuesday (July 6, 2004) at the Beaver City Manor in Beaver City.
She was born Sept. 20, 1920, to Ray and Ruth (Callahan) Tracy in Bird City. She was raised southeast of Bird City near South Beaver Creek and attended Central School and Center Church near her home.
On April 17, 1946, she married Raymond Wederski in Goodland. The couple worked farm jobs in McDonald and Stratton. She moved to Beaver City Manor Jan. 19, 2000. Her husband died Feb. 15, 2004.
She was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Beaver City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Linda in 2003; husband, Raymond; and brother, Willis.
Survivors include one brother, Jim and wife, Ruby Tracy of McDonald.
Services are Thursday, 10:30 a.m., at Beaver City Manor with the Rev. Arlene Rice officiating. A private inurnment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Beaver City.
