CAMBRIDGE -- Connie Andrews, 67, died Thursday (July 1, 2004) at her home in Cambridge.
She was born Feb. 24, 1937, to Leonard and Marie (Brown) Sayer. She graduated in 1954 from Cambridge High School.
On April 7, 1956, she married Bob Andrews. The couple farmed southeast of Cambridge until 1999, when they moved into Cambridge.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Cambridge, the Altar Society, the Furnas County Election Board of Holbrook and Cambridge, the China Painters, Card Club, Holbrook Music Club and the Furnas County Extension.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jerry and Patrick Sayer; and brother-in-law, Stanley Ackerman.
Survivors include her husband, Bob of Cambridge; three daughters, Diane and husband, Jefferey Schultz of Heston, Kan., Barbara and husband, Dean Neels of Dunbar and Marilyn and husband, Waid Zysset of Hastings; two sons, Clark and wife, Dawn of Holbrook and Keith and wife, Lona Smith-Andrews of Lincoln; two sisters, Marianne and husband, Paul Weber of Austin, Texas and Jackie and husband, Donald Scott of Lincoln; one sister-in-law, Cheryl Sayer of Cambridge; and 13 grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial is Tuesday, 10:30 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Cambridge with the Rev. Bob Barnhill officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery.
The rosary will be recited Monday, 7:30 p.m., at Lockenour-Jones Mortuary in Cambridge.
Memorials may be given in her name.
