All-Stars picked

The 10-player Bison/NBDA All-Star boys basketball team was selected.

Ninth graders on the squad are Juan Rivas, Ogallala; Troy Soper, Grant; Taylor Yaw, Imperial; Justin Borowski, Grant; Mike West, Wallace; Lance Wilson, Grant; Micah Koch, Hershey and Wiley Sowle, Wallace.

Eighth graders are Cory Gaston, McCook, and Curt Softley, Grant.

Coaches are Jayson Bishop and Chris Softley.

camp dates set

The McCook Lady Bison Basketball Camp will be held at the McCook High School Gym June 28-July 1 under the direction of Barry Schaeffer.

The camp is open to all interested girls who will be in grades 5-12 in August of 2004.

The purpose of the camp is learning fundamentals of the game of basketball and working on team concepts.

Registration forms can be picked up at the Sports Shoppe, McCook Lettering, the High School Office and the Junior High Office.

Registration forms and fees need to be sent in by May 28.

meeting scheduled

An informational meeting for all girls in grades 9-12 who are interested in playing girls basketball is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Monday, May 24 in Room 160 at MHS.

Expectations, summer camps, and off-season workouts will be discussed.
