Blood tests offered

Community Hospital of McCook is offering blood tests today through Thursday from 7 to 9 a.m. in the Community Hospital meeting rooms in celebration of their 30th anniversary and upcoming National Hospital Week.

Blood chemistry profiles and cholesterol profiles will be offered for $32 for both tests. The cholesterol test will indicate lipid profiles of LDL and HDL. Registration is not necessary. For accurate results, fasting is required 12 to 14 hours before the tests. Payment for the blood tests will be accepted at the door prior to the blood draws. Insurance and Medicare will not be billed.

The patient's blood test results will be offered at Community Hospital's 2004 Health Fair on Saturday, May 8 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Community Hospital Multi-purpose room. Community Hospital staff will be available to help explain the results.
